Learn how to capture the beauty of natural landscape images through techniques taught by a thirty-year veteran of nature photography. This workshop will cover composition, timing, lighting, weather conditions, as well as processing images on the computer (the all important other half of digital photography). Participants should own a digital single lens reflex camera (DSLR is preferred, but a point-&-shoot camera is OK). A tripod is essential-if you don’t own one, Milton will lend you one on Saturday. Bring three of your favorite images (any subject—on a jump drive or CD) to the first session.

This is a three–session class: Part 1 - 9-11 AM: Introduction and review of your past work, plus a composition session. Part 2 - 11-1 PM: Field photography in the Gardens; Part 3 - Review of the day's field work.
