Upcoming Events - 3 (Back) The Crealdé School of Art Presents:Nature Photography (PH358) with Milton Heiberg 9 sessions, 5 classroom sessions Tuesday, 7:00–9:00 p.m. Studio 5 and 4 field trips (see below)Students will learn new skills needed to improve their nature photography. Subjects will include how to approach wildlife, when to capture the best light, which equipment is best for each situation, How to deal with inclement weather, and much more. Students will practice their newly learned skills on four Saturday field trips. A DSLR camera and lenses of at least 300mm and a tripod is required. Classroom sessions will begin with a critique of the work done on the previous field trip. The later part of the class session will be a discussion of topics listed on the syllabus below. Prerequisites: Photo II or similar experience. Each session hereafter (unless noted) will begin with a critique of student’s current work; maximum of 3 images per student (on CD or Jump-drive) for each session.
4/2 (Saturday): FIELD TRIP – Merritt Island NWR, Meet at Parrish Park parking lot at 5:45 AM - SEE MAP (sunrise 7:09 AM)
4/5 NO CLASS MEETING. But you are invited to the Brevard Camera Club meeting where I will be speaking.
4/12 (Tuesday): Telephoto photography I a. Telephoto lens technique b. Bird and animals (both wild and captive—zoo) c. Walk & Stalk method
4/16 (Saturday): FIELD TRIP – to Oakland Preserve 9:00 AM SEE MAP
