Upcoming Events - 6 (Back)
Milton Heiberg Studios will maintain a booth at the festival, and will be conducting the following events: Close-up PhotographyMilton Heiberg, author of The Essentials of Nature Photography, will give a talk on Close-up Photography. Learn how to capture the beauty of nature close-up on film through techniques taught by a thirty-year veteran. The slide lecture/seminar portion will cover photography of wildflowers, insects, butterflies, and other small creatures. For the workshop portion, we will take a walk out back to one of the fallow areas of the campus, and get down into it. Come with or without your camera and close-up lenses. You will look at small nature subjects from a whole new perspective, and visually study their beauty (in a brand new light - both literally and figuratively).
Bird PhotographyMilton Heiberg, author of The Essentials of Nature Photography, will teach you how to capture the beauty of birds on film, how to approach birds with telephoto lenses, and how to photograph birds in flight using techniques taught by this thirty-year veteran of nature photography. If you are planning to attend Milton's Saturday field trip to Bio Lab Road, you should seriously consider this seminar.
Interpretations of Nature Series: Orlando Wetlands & Merritt Island Let
yourself float in a pool of total relaxation and, with open eyes, dream of the
earth's finest products. Milton Heiberg's Interpretations of Nature Series
has two all-new additions put to music. The theme of each is the nature of
Central Florida: Part 1 is focused on the wildlife and landscapes of the St.
Johns River. Part 2 is of the Merritt Island NWR. They tell a story of this part
of the earth that you, the viewer, may reflect upon. You bring something of
yourself to it and take something away with you. It's a "must see." Bio Lab Road, Merritt Island PhotoshootDrive and stalk along this beautiful water-edge road as the sun rises over the lagoon.
