The plan is to be at the Oakland Preserve parking lot at the designated start time, rain or shine (see map attached). After a short introductory session, we will walk along the 3/4 mile boardwalk and find good nature subjects. The boardwalk ends at a gazebo that overlooks Lake Apopka—were we will gather again, and review work from your camera back. We will also look for flying Osprey and other bird life. In Addition to your DSLR Camera with its normal lens, bring a 300mm or longer lens (a tele-extender would help), and a tripod. Bring bug spray if bugs like you. Wear comfortable walking shoes. We will be walking about 2 miles.
